Quite the venue tonight….a full on, honest to goodness cathedral. Ok…maybe it was just a church, but it sure was a big one. When we walked in to it our first thought was, “this is going to sound like crap once we turned on the amps and start whacking away on the drums”. Amazingly enough, the room, church, sounded great.

The pews were full tonight. We were a little unfocussed, but I think we played a pretty good show. The audience, despite having to sit in what must have been very uncomfortable pews (aren’t they always) seem to get locked in to the music. We also introduced another new song: Brand New World.

The hockey playoffs started tonight, without the Maple Leafs involvement, which is a major scandal in Toronto. But the playoffs are the playoffs and there is always Les Canadiens to supply a rooting interest.
